blower motor noise and speed

Post by steve rey »

Have 2000 bonneville blower motor is noisy and the speed varies is the speed possibly the resistor on the motor? It is 256 from autozone the motor is 135. I will check behind the filter but resistor may require removal??
How does it get removed heard firewall and others under dash??
Thanks Steve :)

Noisy = bad bearings.
Speed varies = possibly the Blower Control Module, mounted next to the motor.

(just below the Blower Motor Actuator in this picture)
