Ouch. Sounds like a rod knock to me. It's got that distinct internal noise, so it couldn't be the balancer.

How many miles are on the engine? How many miles have you owned it? Is there metal in the oil?

Rod bearing. That engine is on its last few miles. It's either going to throw a rod through the block, or seize up completely. Sorry to say.

its has 199 miles on it i got it it had 186 and it ran coo.....man i really dont wanna hear that the engine mite be bad

i just seen a vid on youtube and he said hee had a confirmed rod knock and thats exactly how my cars sounded on his vid so i guess he ment the rod bearing never did that before so i guess this is a new challenge for mee

Start looking for a motor.

With that many miles.. has anything been done to the transmission?

i have no clue i was gone do a tranny flush and change the filter what you think??

I think it would be a good idea to at least change the fluid and filter, and look for signs that the transmission might soon fallow the engine. It wouldn't be any fun to have to replace the engine 2 months after the engine.
