I recently ordered my Transmission cooler, and it arrived today! :bwoohoo: But now I have one question... in the instructions it says to instal in series for maximum efficiency. My question is, do I need to? The cooler will be enough on its own correct? I got this one http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance- ... 2/10002/-1 I plan to install it tomorrow. Hopefully it turns out as nicely as I want...

Where do you live? If it's anywhere further north than southern FL, TX, NM AZ or CA, you want it in series so your trans heats up fast enough in the winter. Also, the radiator cooler does help, it's a lot of extra surface area. You don't really need to ditch it in any case.

Here's my set up, I run just the cooler all year. I bypassed the radiator one, and yes it does take a little long in the winter like 00Beast said.

I've got installed pics on the 11th post in the topic.
