Long list of problems with it, they flipped it on it's side to get easy access to the gas tank to remove it. After this it was on a trailer and off to the scrap yard.

I will forever miss that car, it is the one that brought me here! It was a great car while I had it and it also served Nikki well, but it's life was just coming to an end. It will be missed by many

Wow. I can't believe you were able to take that picture. When my truck was scrapped, I could hardly watch the hook grab it :(

This happened actually about two or three weeks ago, Nikki snapped the pic and sent it to me..... I have been slow and just now getting around to posting it

Well, I'm glad I got to ride in it at least once before the end.

When I first found this forum, this was one of my favorite cars on here. Back then I was like, "that's such a nice car I bet that guy will never get rid of it!", lol. Oh well. I've got a picture of it (back when it had the gold laces originally) stuck on the wall in my basement, next to a bunch of other GM cars of my interest.

I know most everyone here as already heard this story a dozen times, but one last time

It looked good when I first got it, but then was in an accident...















Got it all fixed up after buying a parts car and putting a TON of work into it, then drove it down to Clarkston Mi for my first meet, then to Connecticut for my first big meet.







Got it all cleaned up, found a mirror and painted it to match










Wheels I picked up for it, found them on some local online classifieds, turns out they came from another old member here who isn't around much at all anymore, Firedevil. Also snagged up some headlight covers.















It was suffering from cancer though.... bad :(




Transmission started slipping, I got that somewhat fixed for a few months then the engine blew at the same time as the diff exploded.


Cause of blown engine, oil pump gearotor broke in three pieces!



Still had the engine and trans from the parts car so they went in. (call it hillbilly if you want, it worked )


New exhaust on, Magnaflow cat, Flowmaster 80 series, and nice tips.







I sold it to a very good friend of mine and she LOVED the car every bit as much as I did. Unfortunately it was bad luck for her :(

She hit a deer




She also was backed into at the bar one night which cracked the rear bumper cover.




Nikki took all three SSEi badges off it and put one on her keychain, and gave one each to her brothers who also loved the car.


I got the tips back and they found a new home on the '03 SSEi

I'll never forget the story where you said the hood swung around when you guys were hit

Sad day, this was the first car that I saw in person as part of the club, pulling into the mini meet in Clarkston right behind it. it was almost my 95's twin!

I remember that car from the meet in 07.... Will miss that car.... I used to be able to drink a lot better 5 years ago too... Not so much now...LMAO
