Stainless Steel Braided Fuel Lines

I know I talked to this person via PM on a forum or something but I can not find it to save my life. Anyway I plan on running SS braided fuel lines from where they connect at the fire wall all the way to the rail. I still have the parts number list thank god,but I would like to locate A. the pictures he posted, and B ask him a question or 2. Anyone have any clue who has done this?

No I talk to him a bunch and I know he has done the solid line to SS braided conversion, mane he has done the entire system IDK. The person I am looking for has a SC SE 00+ car. I just remembered that. Searching again.

Mine are from the tank all the way up to the rail.

If you want to just run SS braided from the hardlines in the bay, you'll need to run swagelok fitting/adapters to -6an then the Russel LT1 adapter fittings for the stock rail quick connects.

For the swagelok fittings, you'll have to call them up or figure out from their site what to use for a 5/16" and 3/8" hard line to male -6AN.

So it was you I talked to about the Swagelok fittings!

Well I also found what I was looking for before as well.

I just wonder where true swagelok fittings com in to play. In the above linked write up he has everything, but not swagelok fittings, not sure if it matters. I also went back and looked at some of your pics and noticed your fuel lines shoot off to the passenger side not the driver...I assume you did that to clean it up a bit.

It also looks in your build you have 1 90 degree elbow and another lesser angled elbow to clear the intake where the other build is 2 90 degree elbows..


BTW I sent you a PM, wasn't sure if you had a chance to look at it yet.

Your link doesn't work.

Swagelok fittings adapt the stock steel tubing to AN fittings. A lot of people go this route.
There is a massive clubGP thread I started in general which has the swaglok part numbers and more pics IIRC. But, it's from 07-08, and finding it now is borderline impossible.

I routed the lines same as how they came stock on my car. H-bodies flip flopped the lines at some point.

The link I posted suggests which fittings to use right before the LT1 fuel rail adapters for a L36 and L67.

Cool, thanks. I looked at your thread and the one from the over site I found and it appears its all the same. You went full SS braided lines I am only doing it from the fire wall. But looks really good what you did.
