The car I got my seats out of was in a yard, but it wasn't a pick & pull...

Quite a few. Seen as new as a 2002 SLE up here. Cosmetically seemed okay, most likely powertrain failure.

went back on Friday to one of the local yards and look at what I found, came in since last visit, first time I've seen one of these at any of the local yards

I went to a pick a part yesterday and found 2 GXPs up there. I spent $250 for the 2 sets of rims. They are in good shape to...just a little rash but one set will be painted black. They even came with good tires.

so when you say "rims" are you refering to the 18 inch 5-spoke alloy GXP wheels, with tires, for $125 per set?

Yup. The pick a Part next to me charges $25 per alloy wheel and another $5 per tire.

all I can say is well done !!!
the place I like to go to has a fairly comprehensive price list, but now that I'm looking for it, I notice they don't list a price for alloy wheels, I'll have to ask the next time I'm out there

here's one of the $11 driving lights from the pick-a-part that's about to go onto my car, next to the original driving light that today I just got around to removing
