I've been trying to find little things to make my Bonnie look a bit meaner.. I've been looking around for some Headlights covers/films but I just wanted to know if there are any specific brands I should go with?? Any responses are appreciated. Thanks! Jake

No one makes the slip on covers, and tinting will affect your light output. Lots of members have done a lot of things, look around here on the forum and you can get some ideas.

That's just stick on vinyl like window tint, I wouldn't do it...

If I were to do it, would it affect the light output, and would it stay intact at highway speeds?

Yes, it will affect light output negatively, and I would think so. It's a stick-on vinyl.

I agree, don't use that kit. Clear the lights or pull them apart and black out individual parts - those are about the best way to give your car a different more aggressive look.

I'm not sure if I am comfortable with pulling apart my lights and clearing them. I really would hate it if I messed them up somehow

I agree with Ryan...
Any chance to use my car as an example... :P

I VHT'd the corner lenses and bulb caps, and Lamin-X'd the fogs. :btruestory:

Clearing the lights is a simple process, just take your time and follow the write-up on here, I can do a set in 30 minutes tops now.

Wow that looks super sweet! Now is clearing the lights illegal?

Provided you install an orange bulb in place of the clear one, no. Turn signals must flash amber, via orange bulbs or lenses. :btruestory:

I have everything I need to make a how-to thread for my black cornered headlights, if you need any instruction on that. :btruestory:

Blacked headlights FTW ;) I like them even better then cleared on most colors.

I know when i tried doing a tint or film over the head lights i was at wits end trying to find a premade set up. so i went to the parts store and bought some NightShade and blue painters tape. this is what i came up with to have a custom look with out completely screwing over my light out put.

This is another method, maybe easier to do than what I did too. VHT on the orange lens, and IIRC he still uses a clear bulb since the lens is orange beneath the VHT. Also, painted bulb caps like mine. :btruestory:
