I am hoping someone has more of a clue than I do. I am thinking about buying a 2004 Bonny at auction where I live. Car cosmetics are good and it seems mechanically sound but has several electrical issues.
1. No odometer display so the mileage is unknown and DIC if there is one, 2. check gauges light on 3. ac/heat blower motor does not work on ac or heat. I know the ac compressor clutch engages. 4 no power to radio, 5 drivers door lock button does not work but passenger side does. Some additional info, the turn signals work, wipers work and the power windows work
My question is do these electrical problems have anything in common that if repaired would restore there function? I have searched through the posts but failed to find anything specific other than maybe a bad ground at 200 and 201. Don't know if 200 and 201 are tied to radio, odometer ,DIC ,or blower.
Car will need two tires and maybe the UIM and LIM gaskets replaced as the reservoir is coated with sludge. I assume at least 600 in cost with title change, tires and gaskets. KBB valve lists fair condition value at $3,248 which I think is about 800-1K to high. With the electrical issues and known costs I'm thinking my max bid should be about $1300.
