I have two common issues that I'm hoping to resolve this weekend. I am looking for any tips or lessons learned that may make this go more smoothly for a amateur (mechanic skills 3 out of 10).

Issue #1 - I have the "Service Stability System" problem. Per scanner, the front driver wheel speed is not registering, thus I have concluded that this is most likely the common WSS problem, requiring a new hub. Here's what I bought:

Issue #2 - The driver side air vent (both vents and foot vents) do not blow warm air. The passenger ones seem to work just fine and adjust as expected when I change the temp on the HVAC controls. Per my research, I have concluded that this is likely the Drivers Airmix Actuator. Here's what I bought:

So how did your repairs go? I have the same issues and was wondering how you made out.

The new hub fixed the Service Stability System problem. ABS works fine now and all errors are gone.

The Airmix Actuator was a different story. My mechanic installed the new one but it didn't change anything. Also, he tested the voltage when adjusting the HVAC controls and noticed that the control was not responsive. So, he put the old actuator back on and then...

Is started working again on its own! I now have heat that changes correctly from driver to passenger side. I'm not sure if this is just a temporary thing or if something was stuck, but I'm nice an warm now.
