Rattling door from Bass

Post by OnlyAnSE »

Hey so every time that i have my music on and the bass up a little, the window and mirror controls on my driver door seem to be loose and they start rattling very loud. is there anything i can do to tighten them or make them stop rattling when i listen to tunes?

I used two drops of superglue on top and bottom of the controls and that has held them firm and stopped the buzzing.
However, are you sure that it's the controls and not something in the door or perhaps even your tweeter?

:withstupid: The tweeter housing LOVE to rattle, since they're held on by one clip that usually breaks when removed one time. :btruestory: I would just go over the whole door piece by piece checking for broken clips, replace what you can since superglue isn't exactly ideal for if you need to remove the panel later...

I know, just making sure the OP doesn't overdo it and regret it later. :thumbleft:

Alright so I just took a piece of foam and fit it in behind the lock window button on the controls and it moved all the controls so that they stay in one place. works great actually although it doesnt look professional it was an easy fix so thanks for the help guys!
