New Owner, Old Car

Just found this site and decided to join up. I have a 1995 Bonneville. I think its an SE. Its a v6. No supercharger. Has 85k miles. White with black cloth interior. I'll have to take pics the next time I wash it. The interior is falling apart and rattles like crazy. The clearcoat from the factory was defective so the paint peeled all over. Got a cheap Maaco paint job and now thats peeling after 2 years. The passenger side wheel well completely rotted out. Had the engine and automatic tranny rebuilt 5 years ago. Had the radiator blow on me. Man this car is a headache. I'll be browsing around checking out your rides and seeing if anyone has had better luck than me.

I know there is a section in the forum for this but I'm gonna leave you guys with a small task in this post instead of making a whole new thread. Below is a clip that came from the front door that holds the door panel to the actual door. As you can see the barbs are done. This has happened on a few clips so now the trim wabbles everytime I open and close the door. Does anyone have a part number or even a direct link to where I can pick up a few more clips?

Thanks guys!!

Welcome to the club.
You came to the right place for help with your Bonneville.
Here's just one place I found for those clips. http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Door_P ... 024-25.htm
You could go to just about any auto parts store and get them I'm sure.
A member here, Haro, might have some from a car he parted out. He's always has parts or knows the best place to get parts at a good price.

Welcome
You will find lots of info here and people willing to help out
DITTO on Harofreek for the clips.

So glad to see people keeping them instead of crushing them now.

Thanks all for the warm welcome and thank you for the link to the clip. I'll have to check my local autozone first but I'm very happy there is a backup. This door is killing me.

Welcome! That clip is all too familiar, I find them at Advance when I need them. Went through about a million on my LeSabre because my dad/brother would break them when they would try to be body guys and pop out the 1 1/2' diameter dents in the doors. :btruestory:
