Big ol brakes

I hesitate to call them gxp brakes, though they are technically. The fronts are grand prix gxp, and i just used bonneville gxp rotors and caliper brackets in the rear.

i didnt go *shoot* on pads and rotors like i had planned. Insted i simply got the top raybestos stuff and saved a few hundred bucks compared to the ebc ultimax rotors i was planning to get.

still, those twin pot front calipers are pretty rad. The improvement is signifigant. My stock stuff was in good shape yet and it still amazed me how HARD it stops now.

as a bonus, they look sexy filling up the wheels. Now i have to decide whether im going to run mismatched wheels in winter and buy a pair of snows for the stock wheels in front. Or swap front brakes so i can fit my 16"winter wheels on there.

The front looks good with the larger brake set-up. It does fill the wheel very nicely.

No, only the calipers will work of the GP GXP, you'll need the Bonneville GXP caliper brackets and rotors. The calipers are the same, he just was accidentally sold GP stuff.

Actually th gp brackets work better. The original bolts work. The pads are different, thats about the only thing youd notice. The rotors are the same as well other than the janky cross drilling in the original gp ones. I used bonnie gxp hoses which are needed due to the location of the inlet on the caliper body.

the caliper body itself is used on just about every larger gm vehicle from 05 on. Caddies to HD trucks, suvs, everything. The only difference is the bracket.
