1997 SSEi

Hi guys,

I recently bought this car off of an older fella. He bought the car brand new back in '97 and took great care of it.
Despite its 225,000 km on the odometer, it is in meticulous condition inside and out. The leather is in great shape, no cracks or stains. There's a few dings in the doors from parking lots... and a crack in the rear bumper. The guy added all options he could when buying the car, so it's all power including sunroof, seats, mirrors etc. Bose stereo, traction control, perform and normal shift, perform and touring ride.

All in all I'm very happy with this find, especially because I got it for a steal (2,000$). Very comfortable to ride in, yet snappy. I am in love with the Bonneville already!

Only thing that I've done to it besides the standard tune-up is get the rear windows tinted (limo tint).

Cheers :canada:

That SSEi is pretty typically equipped, it's all standard equipment, in other words, most were loaded to the gills off the factory floor. About the only thing you're missing is one step up on the stereo, the 7-band EQ. Remember that only about 5000 per year were even made in SSEi trim. Yours is one of 4,446 for 1997.

Condition is REMARKABLE though. Nice find!

You're right, it is all standard equipment. Guess, it feels a little special to me cause I've been driving around an old, beat up '88 F-150 for the last few years (winters in Canada can get nasty haha).

Didn't know it was that rare, thanks for the info :)

That's a great car you have there, and you've got good taste as far as the trucks too; the 87-96 F-150 is my favorite full size pick up.

My 97 is equipped exactly the same way. With exception of interior/exterior color and the wheels. Looks very nice!

Yeah, if both you guys are Canucks, maybe edit your profiles for location, and let's get some north of the border happenings happening.

Oh, and that's a great looking Bonnie you got there, enjoy!
