seat belt siezed
Not sure if this is the right area for this, but I went to get out of my 95 sse yesterday and the seat belt only retracted 1/2 way. thought nothing of it as it happens quite often but when i got back in it was locked in that position. i am just wondering is this a common issue with a simple fix? or am I going to have to buy a new belt?

Re: seat belt siezed
Look to see if the belt was folded over 1/2 turn as it rolled back in. That takes up extra space on the reel and causes problems. I can't recall how I got it undone last time it happened on my car. It was too long ago.Marshall2469 wrote:Not sure if this is the right area for this, but I went to get out of my 95 sse yesterday and the seat belt only retracted 1/2 way. thought nothing of it as it happens quite often but when i got back in it was locked in that position. i am just wondering is this a common issue with a simple fix? or am I going to have to buy a new belt?
