Leaf blower

I found out that with a brand new car comes great responsibility: I am responsible for every swirl mark! No more blaming them on the previous owner. So i finally tried using a leaf blower to dry the car and it works great! The droplets just blow right off the car. But i hated the idea of 2-cycle exhaust getting blown on the car and came up with a redneck fix:

Tried that once. The leaf blower leaked a small amount of oil in the fan that I didn't know about.

Want to guess where that ended up?

I'm using an electric one next time.

Actually

It was running rich. I turned the mixture down after seeing this and it started running better. Hopefully next time will be cleaner. I put the exhaust on the non-fan-side on purpose :bhuh:

Sorry for no pics....the Camaro is still dirty from the weekend.

I use compressed air. Lot easier to get in small nooks and crannies.

^^^^ What he said or an electric leaf blower.

Also a leaf blower is great for blowing snow off the car as well.

That's a pretty great idea! I might start doing that from now on.
