Shock Question from PM

Was wodering where you purchased your rear shocks from. I have been told that Rockauto is the cheapest around. Any help would be appreciated.
I also noticed that the aftermarket shock brands are not identical to the OEM. The OEM shocks have the airbag at the bottom and the air line fitting at the top. The aftermarket is the opposite, which would place the airbag upsidedown. Does that make a difference?
I don't honestly remember for sure, I think it was Advance Auto. Get them wherever is cheapest, keeping in mind that we have a 5% site discount at Rock Auto, look on the top of the "General Chat" section for the code.

They are identical to OEM in every way, the shocks shown in file pictures aren't the shocks you will get. The rubber part of the shock you see isn't an airbag, it's a dust boot. The air and gas portions are located in the metal shock body. The Max-Air spec'd for these cars is 100% identical to stock. In fact, they're more identical than some of the AC Delco replacements are.
Bye Bye:

I got mine from Amazon - Good price, and I have free shipping with Amazon Prime.
Though, if these are the shocks you're referring to they are NOT identical to stock - They have a larger Diameter shock body, among other small differences.
