Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement

Post by CThompson31 »

Okay, so both my fog lamps have gone out and I'm wanting to get them replaced. I've already bought the bulbs. The only problem I'm having is trying to remove the old bulb. Could anyone put up a visual demonstration with pictures or a video how to do that? I'd like to get this done tomorrow afternoon.
3800 Series power. Doesn't get much better than that!

The easiest way is probably going to be to remove the headlight, which has 2-10 MM bolts. Disconnect the wiring and set it aside, then reach in, twist the bulb out, disconnect it, reverse the process. It's a 10 minute job, if you stop for 5 min in the middle to enjoy a beverage.
