93 is stalling out
Lately I've noticed a rough idle. then all of the sudden last friday the bird stalled out. It turns right back over and will do this intermittently stall and go. The power definitely cuts out as my cd deck's memory is wiped clean every time. I'm also feeling a new a vibration that almost feels like I'm driving over little speed bumps? Almost like something is pulling on the engine? Any input would help thanks.

How do your battery cable ends, battery terminals and terminal bolts look? Have you ensured they're tight?

Sure sounds like a bad connection in the power or ground.

Replaced that pesky positive bolt ($2.50 @ advance) and so far so good! Had the alternator tested while I was at it..... Dead diode would that be a possible source of a rough idle?

So the alternator had a dead rectifier bridge diode? You replaced the alternator too? If you didn't replace the alternator you might want to check your voltage accross the battery to ensure it's in the 13.5 to 14.5 volt range. I once put a new alternator in a car that didn't have a voltage meter on the dash. The new alternator was faulty and started putting out 22 volts. After a couple of months, it burned up the computer and fried the battery.

Negative, I have not replaced the alternator yet, I plan on pulling a used unit from the Ferangi bone yard this weekend. The voltage was around 13.2? I will be smart and have the replacement unit tested before I install. I find.
