I have a ac problem and have 0 clue how it happened. If anyone has a clue how this happened would ease my mind. There is a white connector right behind the clutch on the compressor. When wifey told me today that the ac in her car quit working, I first checked fuses. All fuses okay.So next step was to see if it was still plugged in firmly. When i started looking for the wire the first thing i noticed was a broke connector behind the clutch.
The wire is still plugged in to other half of the broke white connector
How could this happen? No ones been under the hood in last couple days or tugging on the wires that i know of.Not sure but thinking now the whole compressor will have to be changed due to the connector? Any info would be appreciated
Did more research and found i need to replace clutch coil..now need to find out tools and procedure involved.
