AntiLock brake light on constant

My antilock dash brake light is on constant - I haven't noticed any brake issues yet - I have not tried to pull codes yet - I'm hoping its just one of the wheel sensors - once I pull codes if it is a sensor will it denote which wheel?
Thanks.....Milty

An ABS or Tech 2 scanner will tell you which wheel if that is the problem. Lower level scanners won't tell you anything about the ABS.

Is it worth buyng an ABS scanner or cheaper to have a mechanic run the scan? If its not a wheel sensor what else could keep the light lit?
Thanks.... Milty

Def. cheaper to have a mechanic do it. It could be a WSS, the Electronic Brake Control Module, the wiring or something else. Only way to know is to have it scanned.

Ok. Thanks. I'll take it to a trusted mechanic.

If you were looking at the Actron Brake Scanner, it will not work with your generation Bonneville. 2000 and newer only.
