Re: HELP! What is this?
You push down on WHAT? The little valve inside? Fuel is supposed to come out. That's the test port for the fuel pressure. If it's leaking inside the cap on it's own, use a schrader valve tool and tighten it, just like you would a valve in a tire valve stem.
You need to be more specific.

Re: HELP! What is this?
i thought the front stem was the for testing the fuel pressure..it has a rubber black top on it and when i push down on it gas does leak just wanted to know if its normal and if it could possibly trigger a code for p0171

Re: HELP! What is this?
"rear fuel feed " did you mean where the rear fuel line plugs into the rear fuel rail ? it has like a quick relase white tabs on it like the fuel filter ?
mine would leak if i stressed the line or moved the line . i think as long as it does not leak when your not bending , moving , or pushing down on the connection then it ok and does no leak ur ok .
maybe some one else came chime in
its a connection like this ?

ok yes we are talking about the same thing its a quick release fuel line connection and that clip holds it on . as long as its no leaking when your not pushing down on it its ok .98buicklesabre wrote:i thought the front stem was the for testing the fuel pressure..it has a rubber black top on it and when i push down on it gas does leak just wanted to know if its normal and if it could possibly trigger a code for p0171

Re: HELP! What is this?
does it leak if you dont touch it ? dont think there is any o rings in there but that clip can be replaced .
but when your pushing down on it your probaly breaking the seal and 50 psi of fuel is spraying out . if you dont touch it and does not leak i say your ok . maybe some one else can chime in .
to take it off just put a dry rag over the line to catch the spray , and on the first pic you see on the bottom of the clip is two arms you have to Pintch thoose two tabs inward and pull up on fuel line elbow and it will come right off . then you can inspect the clip and or replace it

Re: HELP! What is this?
no its not where you test fuel pressure . there is a vavle like a tire vale with a cap on it nest to the fuel pressure regulator on the front fuel rail .

Re: HELP! What is this?
98 - it helps a lot if you are able to take pictures and show us what you are talking about. In 1 post, you could have had an answer. So, you are leaking where the flex line attaches to the fuel rail?
Those are fuel line retaining clips and yes there are o-rings inside the lines that seal on the metal nipple on the fuel rail. All the clip does is hold the line on. Even while running and moving them, there should not be any fuel coming out. I have never had to replace any, but I will try to find the seals / o-rings. Looks like it might be a tight place to work, if they are available without replacing the line. There should never be fuel leaking under any normal circumstance. This poses a serious fire risk.

Louder: I suggest using something along the lines of photobucket.com for image hosting. It does not take as long for the pictures to load. When I click on your pictures it takes me to the log in page instead of the larger image. Either that or the wrong link was attached.
Here is the link to the o-rings from Napa:

Re: HELP! What is this?
You should be able to squeeze the clip and take it off. Be careful you do not flex the line too much.

Re: HELP! What is this?
There are 2 O-rings in that clip. You'll need O-ring/seal picks to dislodge them and re-insert the new ones. You'll need 2 Viton O-rings of the right size as replacements. Regular rubber O-rings will degrade when exposed to fuel.
