AC Problems

Post by mblaze »

My ac blower stopped working completely on my 2005 GXP the other day. Blower does not work at any setting. I pulled the cover under the dash on the passenger side and noticed that the condensation is coming into the car. Could be unrelated. Where does the evap line come out under the car? Is it easy to see? Also where is the blower motor resistor located? I should mention that AFTER the ac blower stopped working, I got a message on the driver info center that the car was overheating and that it was shutting the ac down. The ac was not on (and not even working) at the time. I also got a message that the car was setting the engine to idle speed from overheating. It was a cold night and the car continued to run fine and never went to idle speed while I continued to drive. It has never shown any evidence of overheating. The message center continuously says that the antifreeze is low but the level is fine. The temp guage crapped out along with the fuel guage so I can't rely on that for an accurate reading. I would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks!
Blaze
