07-08 Grand Prix with dual exhaust?
I'm shopping for an 07-08 Grand Prix with V6, leather, and dual-exhaust, preferably in black and non-supercharged with less than 40k miles. I'm having a hard time finding this combination, though. I'm seeing a lot that are close, but lack the dual exhaust. When I look at the "research" area on Cars.com, I see this text regarding dual exhaust:
* Available as an orderable Regular Production Accessory (RPA). For additional GM accessory offerings and installation, please contact your local GM accessory distributor installer (ADI).
* Dual Round Exhaust Tips
* 4 - 3" stainless steel styled tips.
It looks like maybe only the 2004 model year allowed you to get dual exhaust from the factory. Can anybody confirm this for me? I guess its not completely necessary for me, but it would be the icing on the cake.

IIRC Sandrock's 06 GT is that car, but in Gray.

Hehehehe....yup. Lemme see if I can dig up a pic.

Keep in mind it's NOT a GT. But it's optioned as a GT would be in 2004. The exhaust is standard dual mufflers like you would normally find on a supercharged car. The tips are for a lack of a better description GXP tips...full stainless.

@sandrock: Did you buy it new? If so, did the dealer change out the exhaust like that text I posted seemed to indicate?
They seem to exist, but they're not very common. I found a number of them around the Detroit area. Maybe I'll have to take a drive out there.

No, its used. But I did get the scoop on it before I bought it...an old guy ordered it, loaded it up, and drove it for 2 years before figuring out he needed a truck instead. So as far as I can tell, it was ordered that way, not dealer installed. If you look at the lower valence, you can see it was also made for dual exhaust.

07-08 GT's were supercharged, Jake. He wants to find a non S/C car w/ the duals.
What's wrong w/ a supercharged car? You might be giving up 1 or 2 mpg, but the boost is worth it.

Both of those cars are oddballs. The first one doesn't have leather/heated seat package, but that appearance package is outstanding. That second one seems like an odd duck for some reason too. But for those prices you could get a nice GXP, complete with HUD and a V8 that gets 30 mpg on the highway if you do 65 mph

That's within the acceptable range of temperatures. The factory thermostat is 195*. However, this is an old topic, and you aren't even on the same topic.
