I just replaced my Blower Motor Resistor and my Blower motor, The heating is great but it only comes out of the floor vents and the defroster. I do not feel any air coming out of the vents on the dash. Please help cause it is severely cold here in INDIANA. If possible would someone please post a tutorial on how to do this.

It's the HVAC vacuum actuator behind the glovebox. Either that, or a vacuum leak somewhere in the lines leading to it. IIRC, if it's broken/no vacuum or off, it defaults to floor vents.

make sure you check all the lines one leak could stop the flow of air

An SE doesn't have the airmix actuator behind the glovebox. That's ECC equipped cars only.
Check the vacuum lines near the programmer above the right front hushpanel. Also make sure the line coming through the firewall from the motor has vacuum and is connected.

Ok, please look at your RPO codes for "H4U". Do you have it? If so, please add "SLE PACKAGE" to either your profile or signature. That's one of the determining factors we use to help troubleshoot cars around here. Nevertheless, it's not the airmix actuator behind your glovebox, as your heat is fine. Does the heat adjust up and down correctly? Is your ECC flashing the temperature on startup, or is it acting normal?

Fan speeds work, heating is good, it does flash when i start the car up but it eventually stops.

problem solved. I replaced the vacuum tank (big blimp object in front of passenger side tire) line because it was completely severed. Heating works great on every vent

i don't know what you call it...it is that large pill shaped thing in front of the passenger front tire. The line that comes from it was severed so i replaced the line and it works great now...also did willwrens HVAC cleaning method which may have also helped

Ed, the Evap canister is on the DRIVER'S side, the vacuum tank for the ECC was relocated to the wheelwell on the passenger side in 1996.
