Remote key fob part numbers for '95 Bonneville?

My '95 Bonneville had no remotes with it when I got it a few weeks ago, but according to the build sheet, it was equipped with them from the factory. Shopping for remotes on eBay, I see conflicting info on which remotes are compatible with my car. Does anyone have a list of compatible part numbers? My experience with late '90s Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs suggests that several different remotes would be compatible. I have a feeling this is also the case with the early '90s remotes as the same remote would get different part numbers depending on whether it had a Buick, Pontiac, Olds, or Chevy logo on it or no logo at all.

Possible candidates I've identified include (in no particular order): 10205241, 10205240, 15725422, 10205239 25602667, 25602668, 25602669, 10239647. Can anyone verify the compatibility of any of these part numbers?

One eBay ad for aftermarket remotes (keylessride) suggests that any remote with an FCC number beginning with "ABO" would be compatible. Can anyone verify this claim? If true, it would open up a the field quite a bit.

Finally, Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket remotes from keylessride? The idea of a brand new one at a price comparable to the used ones is appealing if they're any good.

Thanks!

Thanks. Their site confirmed part nos. 25602667, 68, and 69 and that the remotes are the same for full size Buicks (LeSabre, Park Ave., Riviera), Oldsmobiles (88, 98, Aurora), and Pontiac Bonnevilles.

The car came with only one set of keys, including one for a nonexistent locking gas cap (go figure) and no remotes. I went to a local locksmith who cut me a second set of keys (ignition and door) for $25. The ignition key was $23 and the door key was $2. They weren't OEM blanks, but they work just fine.

I looked up the programming procedure on programyourremote.com and found a different one from what I found on this forum. For a '94 and '95 model, they show an 16-pin OBD2 data port and specify jumping terminals 4 and 8, but I thought OBD2 came debuted on the '96 models. I had to go back to a '93 model to find a diagram for a 12-pin OBD1 dataport. I glanced under the dash on my car and the port is trapezoid shaped like an OBD2, rather than rectangular with three square protrusions like the OBD1 port. My car was manufactured in April '95. Is it possible they phased in OBD2 as a running change during the model year? I guess I need to get a mirror and count the pin holes. If it is an OBD2 port, I've already got one compatible remote that went to my '98 Aurora.

I'll post some photos of my Bonne as soon as I take some, but I gotta warn you, while she's pretty from the front, she's pretty fugly in the back where the paint is peeling.

Your car has OBD 1.5, basically OBD I with an OBD II plug.

Gotta love those transitional designs. Out of curiosity, would an OBD II scanner be able to interface with my car to pull up diagnostic codes?

I was looking at the build sheet for my car, double-checking the codes to confirm the car is indeed equipped with the remote keyless entry option before I order some fobs off of eBay. The car had no fobs when I got it.

Under "Broadcast Codes" it shows 'ZO2B Keyless Entry' and under "Options" it shows 'AU0 Remote Entry'. Does this mean the car is equipped with this feature? I feel I can reasonably infer that "Options" refers to the optional equipment installed on the car, and I'm guessing that 'AU0 Remote Entry' would refer to the remote keyless entry system, but the absence of the word 'keyless' gives me pause. I'm less sure of what "Broadcast Codes" means. Does that refer to available equipment or installed equipment? Does one code refer to the RKE module and the other refer to the fobs?

Can anyone help interpret this information for me?

Thanks!

AU0 is the code for Remote Keyless Entry

Being a 95 you will have an AB0303R( Receiver ) so the Remote/s will need to be AB0302T or AB0303T( T= Transmitter )

If it helps any the numbers listed are correct... Mine has

25602667, 68, 69

When you use Pins 4 & 8 you are simply grounding the Receiver sending it into learn mode..

I ordered a pair of remotes from Keyless4u on Thursday and they arrived yesterday. As I was leaving for work this morning, I took an extra two minutes to program them. Everything went smooth as silk. It's good having remotes. Thanks for all of your input and assistance.
