I'm about to do rear speakers in the wifes car, I thought about doing these and seeing if they improve sound has anybody tried them or a similar idea?

Don't waste your money. Buy a better set like Pioneer or something.
I know you can got to Crutchfield and see what they have on closeouts. Thats where I got my head unit for my car.

Dude did you click the link? These are baffles that you drop the speaker in to make a sealed box for it. I have infinity reference 9623i speakers on the way

I think that they might hurt sound more than help it. Those would be great if you were trying to deflect water off of the speaker. Mose 6x9 speakers are designed to be be used without a box or enclosure. This means that if you put them in something with a small volume it will basically choke off your low bass response, especially if you dont have them running off of an amp. What car are they going into? If its a GM then the speaker holes will barely be big enough to let the infinity 6x9 drop in by itself without cutting.

they will slightly help mid bass.. Thats it.. 6x9s are terrible for sound quality.. Which is usually why ppl go from then ,to a 6 1/2 coax, in a 6x9 baffle..
