With little or no warning my engine shuts down while driving or at rest. I am able to restart after about 2-3 seconds. All my gauges go down or flicker and I have absolutely nothing for the 2-3 seconds. My anti-skid system/light tends to act up before the car shuts down.
My anti-skid has been acting-up for the last few weeks but thought it was because I installed cheap front hubs.
I installed a new battery and alternator last spring
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove your battery cables and inspect them (including inside the rubber ends) for corrosion. If they're corroded, clean or replace them. Next, clean the threads inside the battery itself. A 9MM pistol cleaning brush works well for this.
Hook them up and your problem should be solved. This is a very common problem with our cars and should always be the first step before going any further.
Good luck, and report back.

Wouldn't hurt to replace the bolts and clean the ends of the cables very well. The bolts are like $.60 each, at any parts store. Just say you need a battery cable bolt.
