Preliminary Proposal - Mark your Calendars!

I must admit that I was inspired by Wren's WCBF10 Wrap up and thanks.

I'm beginning with this years attendees and we can add from here.

Mon. July 18 - Early arrivals. Tactical discussions at Fuddruckers. Mooseburgers and Baconaters!!

Tues. July 19 - Arrivals & Afternoon cleaning, Meet n Greet. Automotive Discussion and beverages.

Wed. July 20 - Egg McMuffin morning, shopping and site seeing. Show n shine.

Thursday July 21 - Testing and tuning .... . Garage discussions and group Barbecue.

Friday July 22 - Cruise to the Coast. "Rogue Beer run" followed by Moes for luncheon feast. Road testing. Back for campfire discussions and Rogue quenching. THE DINNER at China Buffet.

Saturday July 23 - Woodburn General Motors Sportsman Class Drags. Woodburn WCBF11 convoy leaves at 6:30 a.m. sharp.
8:am - 5:30pm followed by our traditional photo shoot at Woodburn Dragstrip. ...back by 6:30 pm for WCBF11 Pizza's for dinner, awards and presentations.

Sunday July 24 - Group discussions and picture/video swap. Departures.

Hmmmmmmm.....I know driving the Bonne would be much more creature comfort friendly, but would you all mind if I drove out the '64 Merc? Wanna take my own Two Lane Blacktop kinda trip..... :twisted:

I certainly don't mind Jake. If you think it can make it both ways, you won't be the only one attending without a Bonneville. This Meet is just as much about the Club people as it is about the Club cars. :bow:

Its one of my ALL TIME fav movies!!! Check it out if you have never seen!!! I suppose a 5speed is in order now behind the 408(going to be built this winter) unless I get two carriers for the 9in....mo money mo problems lol

Alright guys, lets try this again. One of my Pontiac cars will be in Oregon next summer. No ifs ands or buts this time..I have an entire year to prep for this.
I AM GOING TO WCBF 2011.

I promise to change my attire next year. Particularly since that freak Major got caught with his negligee on after going on a killing spree. :evil:

Paul, time for an update:

Woodburn has their preliminary schedule up http://www.woodburndragstrip.com/preliminary and the GM showdown is moved to June 18th. They are still having the Friday night fun drags and Sat is also a race day.

I WILL BE THERE THIS TIME I get nervous about meeting people that are already important to me. I just don't want to have another year of 'man I shoulda' :dontknow:
I'll be there Th or Fri thru Sunday. I may have to pop back up to PDX at night.
New Concrete strip? I was guessing asphalt would be faster.
