Just in time too! The castlenut had stripped and the only thing holding the joint in was the cotter pin.

Ready to rock n roll now.

Changed Keven's plug wires and replaced his front broken motor mount with a solid hockey puck version.

Bill's hook release is working but not from inside the car. A jerry rigged front release version for now.

The meat is smoking tenderly at a steady 200F and I'm getting hungry from the smell.

I really miss all you folks...but this is the last weekend I have with my oldest son - he goes to Spec Ops training for the Airforce on Tuesday. We're having a huge party this Sat (trying to get Gumball to come!) to celebrate his college graduation, his officer commissioning, and his going away. So...it's a good thing I stayed home for his last civilian weekend.

Even so... i'm there in spirit... party on!
