what scanner to buy for 1995 ssei?

this surging/stalling/no-start, etc issues are taking all of my time. what scanner or laptop software can i buy for this car?

not so concerned with cost, i just need to get this car running. scanner needs record failed starts and point me toward a solution...

I have an Actron CP9145 which scans a ton of stuff for this car (OBD 1.5, GM's from 94-95 mostly) and read all the codes. It showed KR, tranny temps and a whole bunch of things. It sounds like your PCM may be bad. I chased down a ton of problems and a new computer fixed everything. It may or may not be your answer but may point you in the right direction.

i replaced PCM already...

i am at a total loss...

PCM, ICM, counds cleaned, etc..

when car will not start no injector pulse.

the actron you mentioned will help diagnose a non-start issue with no CEL?

IIRC you have a spare car for parts, did you try swapping the wiring harness that runs between the ICM, PCM, crank & cam sensors?

no mike, ido not have a parts car... i would buy a harness if you could point me in right direction...

i have lost too much time making no progress...
