Starting a new job at the end of this month.
Full time with an excellent wage and LOTS of hours.
Going to finally have the Money (not necessarily the time) to do what i want to to my car.
Obviously it wont all be at once a year or 14 months probably.. Maybe more..
Been pricing stuff out and getting quotes so does this seem reasonable?

Motor and Trans - 500
Rebuilding Motor and Trans - 2500
Sc rebuild kit - 150
Tuning Software - 400
Stroker Kit - 3000
Pulley Puller - 150
Exhaust - 500
Headlights and Marker lights - 400
Front end repair - 1500
Rims and Tires - 950
Differential - 500
Glass - 400
Minor Problems - 500

Id be doing most of the work with my dad
(Minus the glass powder-coating and machine work)
Bear in mind i am in Canadia.

That's $11,450. Your year and trim says you have a 1994 SSEi.
Could you be a little bit more specific about what you're trying to achieve? Outside of something really special, it does not seem reasonable to me to sink $11,450 into a 16 year old automobile.

Getting a new block and rebuilding it will get me a motor that will last a lonnnnnnnnng time.

Great daily driver.
Make an interesting sleeper.
Super comfortable.
I love the way the vehicle looks.

Lots of that list is wants. But getting a motor and trans and rebuilding them both ill be into it so deep i might as well get some of the wishlist checked off while I'm there. The big one is the stroker kit.. Its just such a unique mod..
Anyway. Its something different. I love Camaros' etc but everyone and their dog has one. Very few people have spent any money on these cars. Its something totally unique and also something i just want to do.
Call me crazy.

The reason why I'm saying it doesn't sound reasonable to me, is because if you take a stock used Bonneville in good shape, with only light mods, you can have:
-A great daily driver, that makes an interesting sleeper (and is fun at the track), that is super comfortable, and has those looks that you like.
And you can do that for *way* less than $11,450.

But yeah, if you do spend $11,450 on a 94 Bonnie, you should expect to hear the term "crazy" a couple times.

Well it sounds like most of the money is going into the motor/trans and wheels and tires. So he could take it with him should he want a different car. Should he get tired of FWD he could swap the motor into a Camaro or Motor/trans into a Fiero.

Meh i don't mind spending money on a 94.
I love the car.
Stroker would be a cool and unique and sleeper.

Other than that its almost all regular mods that you all do...
And a new block and trans is for two reasons
A) weekend swap
B) vehicles on the road while being relatively heavily modified.

Its getting there allready.
I want to do a complete teardown and respray but that is alot of $$ and time off the road.
It already has some minor cancer and major hood herpes. Gonna fix the hood myself and get it resprayed methinks.
