Speed Daddy Headers

I've recently seen this pop up in a few threads but haven't heard anything about them quality wise. I had been searching for these and hadn't been able to even find them on eBay for a little while. But someone posted a link in another topic.

The price is very appealing compared to other brands, and I'm sure I'm going to see the "you get what you pay for" type answer. But what does anyone have to say about them? Anyone else actually running them now? Nothing is listed specifically for the Bonneville, so I'm sure there is probably fitment issues?

I'm mainly just curious, probably not something I'd be picking up very soon as rockers and another surprise are currently on my list first. But for this price I was almost thinking I'd come out cheaper fixing any possible issues with these than a new SLP set or even Pacesetters. But I could probably easily sway this direction, especially since I'm getting irritated with the PLog mating to the stock crossover.

From what I have head these are a budget header that has worked on several cars. They are SS and are a knock-off of the SSAC header, which are knock-off of SLP's.

To the OP: "I'm sure I'm going to see the "you get what you pay for" type answer." This is true for this one as well; i'd personally opt for a ceramic coated header, but you can always get these coated. I wouldn't recommend pacesetters if its one of your options.

This guy has em. I paid 220 for them off ebay, and they have been worth it so far, easy install and the quality looked good as well. The flanges were pretty thick, and the welds all looked great. The set comes with some *shoot* U bolt syle exhaust clamps, I ditched those for some Torqtites. Also, the flexpipe on mine started leaking after about a week after install.

Old thread but bump worthy. I was looking at these but the eBay seller told home they won't fit. Even with a w body dipstick. Wondering how well they are holding up for you or if anyone else has used them.

Once I figure out If I wanna go with full headers or a dp I will be finally ready to mod.

From what I know the SLP knock offs will work great

all i have read they say get better clamps
http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/mer ... ry_Code=EX

and just weld on a new flex pipe
http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix ... &catid=110

this will bump the price up around 400 but thats still way less then the 750+ for the SLPs
