A grammatically correct question with an actual question involved will yield you much better results on this site. Such as, "How can I disable my Daytime Running Lights?" Also, using all caps is like yelling at us. That would be like walking into a meet and screaming "DISABLE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS!". People would look at you like you are insane. Just trying to help you out here.

On to the topic of this post; I have NFC how to disable your DRL's.

Why are you disabling the DRL? It's a safety feature. Unless you want HID headlights.

You must pull the electrical connection from the DRL resistor. The resistor is found on the driver's front side of the engine bay. First, find the large black box which contains the computer. Next, pull the black box to the left so you can see the horn easier. Once you find the black horn, look to your right you will see a small white box thats bolted to the frame of the car. There will be a electrical connection on the back of the white box snap if off and your done. Once the connector is out of the white box you no longer have drls. The head lights will still turn on so there is no need to worry.

I wonder how he got his DRLs baled. I mean, if he needs to disbale them, they must be heavily baled.

I agree. In Canada it's required to have DRL. They must be retrofitted if you're importing.

I might add that it's a safety feature for others, especially pedestrians. Unless there is a very good reason otherwise, disabling DRL has no regard for pedestrian safety. I tell my son to look for white lights when we're walking in a parking lot because white lights mean the car is moving towards you. DRLs make for an easy rule to teach my son.

OK, I've said my part. You can :bsmack: me now.

People got by for decades without DRL's. They aren't a big deal. I need to kill mine because they are messing with my new HID install. I'm also considering seeing what it would take to rewire the DRL system so that my front amber lights become my DRL's, like many other GM vehicles have. Much easier to see in the daytime IMO anyway.

It's best to let sleeping dogs lie. This isn't current events, but a rather aged topic from nearly half a year ago.
