Removing SC Nose Drive
95 SSEI 132,000 miles needs SC coupler. (I am sure) Can someone talk me through removing the nose drive with the SC attached to engine? Does the bracket\mount for the ps and alt need to be removed? Thanks, Harry

Re: Removing SC Nose Drive
You have to remove the supercharger entirely. Starting 96 with the larger Eaton M90, you don't.
You'll need a new SC gasket, anearobic sealant, oil, coupler, and two yellow o-rings for the coolant flow between the SC and LIM. It's a good opportunity to remove the TB and clean it (with sensors removed).

the belt bracket will be in the way. its really not worth doing it that way i believe. For a series I, you should remove the s/c from the intake to remove the nose drive.

Re: Removing SC Nose Drive
Thanks so much. I really was not excited about removing all that bracket stuff again. I replaced the water pump about three weeks ago. That was no "walk in the park." I'll start gathering the supplies, thanks for the list of parts and....Harry

95 SSEI Removing Supercharger
So I don't blunder myself into a corner, are there any instructions on removal and replacement of the supercharger. I would feel more confident with the old Step1, Step 2, Step 3, in front of me as I do the work. I did find a diagram of the vacuum lines routing but that was all I could find.

Here some information on the supercharger. I thought there was something around here somewhere that had a full write up. I'll look some more later today for it.

Re: Removing SC Nose Drive
Thanks for the links..I had seen them while I was looking around for info on SC R & R. Nothing there seemed to show the removal.
