90 sse security light
Hello, How do u get the security light to shut off? My remote does not work.

The light is telling you something is wrong. Your remote has nothing to do with it.
The most likely cause is the tamper sensor on the rear trunk lid lock cylinder. Remove your under-lid carpet (if you have it) and follow the small mechanical cable from the lock cylinder downward to where it connects. Disconnect the ground switch at that point and see if it solves your problem.
The tamper 'tab' on the lock cylinder is fairly small and somewhat delicate. It's not uncommon for it to break on older cars. If this happens, your security system will think someone was messing with your trunk lock.
