Supercharger question

Well, I think I might need to replace my supercharger, and I was wondering what steps I would have to go through to take out the one i have and install a new one. I'm hoping that it's not the supercharger, but I think it is.
Also, would this be the right S/C for a 2000 SSEi?

First thing, this isn't a performance topic, so I'll move it to Forced Induction for you.
Secondly, there are a TON of very poor quality rebuilds out there. A link to that source would be helpful.
Third, click the red text in my signature and consider doing it yourself or buying the parts for a local machine shop to do the work for you.
Fourth, what symptoms are you experiencing that lead you to believe you need a new supercharger?

Well I get a lot of rattle on start up, but then it goes away when it warms up, and sometimes when I'm accelerating, it kinda skips when I take my foot off the gas.

EDIT: thanks for the move, and the reply!

Skipping when accelerating isn't going to be your supercharger. Rule that out. Same thing for letting off the throttle.
That company looks fairly legit, but I've never heard of them.
Troubleshoot it yourself using my website. Let us know what you find. All the instructions are there, and at the most, you may only need a coupler and some oil.

Well, I had a mechanic buddy of mine look at it, and he said it's fine and that the rattle isn't the supercharger, I did an oil change and can't tell quite yet if the rattle has gone away.

The harmonic balancer is a possibility. Look for cracking in the rubber portion of the balancer.

The only pulley on the engine that has both belts around it. Bottom one, on the crank.
Ironically, I just diagnosed a 91 3800 this morning at a neighbor's house. He was about to change either his EGR or his power steering pump because he couldn't isolate the noise.
Pull on the belts to rock it back and forth. Listen for any ticking or clanking. Does the noise go down if you roll lightly on the throttle?
