some serious window flex with 4 15'' l7's in da trunk.

This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

That's pretty awesome! What kind of amp(s) are you pushing them with and what kind of alternator/battery do you use?

I understand the need for good bass... but this. This is not music. I do not understand how someone can like how that sounds.

I was going to make that comment, but someone beat me to it, so I will simply quote.

Can we have a do over with some real music please?

you want a new video with a song..? what kind of music..? r&b, rock, hip hop, oldies.. my system sounds amazingly clear like being front stage at a concert.. im not bsing you.. you could come hear if you dont believe me..

so you want a new video with just some regular music. not a bass test right..? i got you.. give me a while its way to early to play it...lol

and haro.. dont get me wrong.. i love music so much.. in my wifes car i put only 1 10'' just to even out the sound and fill in that gap i was missing from not having no punch in my music..

trust me my system is way too over kill for just driving around listening to music.. but i dont do that.. i will only be using it for shows and comps...

and wiat till i get the 3 18's in my then watch out for the new videos....lolololololololololololololololololol

Whatever music you think is best, I know the stuff in the video of the wife's car was fine. I wasn't dissing on the sound quality or anything either, it is just hard to appreciate it in the manner it was presented, that's all.

Carry on

it's a hobby, andrew

Although, i'd never do this in our bonneville. Only way i were to do it is if I were in SPL comps, and had a tahoe or a blazer. I do, love bass however

BTW, i watched the next video of teh voltage, and that is HORRIBLE. you are murdering your alt with that much voltage drop..

you are correct.. my voltage dropped to 9.4 volts and amps still played fine.. thats why i stand by kickers name..

but yeah i need to get me a 350 amp alternator instead of the 240 amp i have and i need 3 kinetik hc2400 batteries and i should be good..

this alt i have was really bought to be used on only 1 kicker 2500 watt amp.. but i eneded up putting in another with 2 more subs just to see how it would sound with 4 15's in the trunk.. and its a comp car that i will be using at spl comps.. and it does not matter if i have a tahoe or a suv because you can hit the same or even higher db level in a smaller more compact car...

3 2400's? powered by one 350 amp alt? :ack:

and i do understand that it doesn't matter if you have a 'hoe or a SUV, i'm just saying, i'd want a 'hoe or blazer just so i have more space to work with.

Yes, you will hit higher db's in a smaller car, simply because there's less space in the car, and the pressure from the subs will be higher. hence the name "SPL" sound pressure level.

Good luck on this, you have one sweet project you're doing. =D>

Good God lol, I gotta join the "I don't get it" crowd, but I do appreciate the amount of time and work that must have gone into it, even if I don't understand it, it is certainly impressive. I just hope your car doesn't vibrate itself to pieces!
