Opinions on engine removal?

What tips, advice or experiences do you guys have with engine removal for a 2001 SSEI. Purchased a new motor and getting ready to install. I have removed a cradle before to replace a tranny in a 00 GTP and I have also taken the motor out of the top of the 00 GTP. Almost seems to me even though I’m only replacing the motor it might be easier to drop out the bottom. Just looking for advise and any tips. Shortcuts helpful too if there are any. Thanks

Easier to drop the cradle if you have to remove the trani but for just an engine change it's simplest to pull it out the top.

Out the top: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=13112&p=139704&hili ... or#p139704 (the white 2k). Took little more than an hour on a really hot day to have it out.

Not sure how you remove in an hour but got it done and a replacement put in without too many problems. Ended up getting a P102 code and replaced the mass air and it seems fine now. Now I have a bunch of parts for sale.
