I may have a rear speaker going bad. Do I have to use OEM speakers or can I go to any
brand and how hard are they to replace?

I put Infinity Kapa 3 way 6x9's in my car in place of the blown out factory Bose speakers. I think they sound great, better than a non blown Bose. Easy to install.
