Has anyone else seen a black 40th Anniversary Bonneville before? I just saw one today! It was very unfortunate that I didn't hvae a camera or anyone with one with me.
I've seen the purple ones of course, by far the most common color, we have at least one silver 40th in the club I know, and I've seen a white 40th on campus a few times.

Neighbor around the corner has someone stop in weekly in a black 40th SSE. Standard 5-spoke rims, no moonroof. Nothing special aside from the badges.

I had a black 40th SE Supercharged, but sold it last year. I have a 40th dealer brochure and it says that black cherry is the only available color, they must have changed their plans after the brochure was published. Perhaps initially it was only available in black cherry, that might account for the high number of BC cars.
