I'm gonna give my bonne a good cleaning Friday as it may be the last one till we go through our first winter together (ever! me nor the car have seen snow more than twice). Here's a teaser till Friday...the last Pics i took before i left Mississippi to move to Minnesota.






Since these i have had the following changes.

Back window exploded outward(yeah..no kidding) so onstar and intense logo are gone.
Brakes were redone, calipers are red..need to repaint though.

if this is the first winter the car has seen i would HIGHLY suggest taking the car to be undercoated and oil sprayed, that is if you like the car?

Meh, last winter was aparrently my car's first winter, as it came from FL. The undercarriage is still fine. Just hit the carwash with the undercarriage spray once a month in the winter, and you'll be fine. MN winters sure will be a shock to you though. Be sure your car's maintenance (especially battery and alternator) is up to date, and be sure you have warm clothes, jumper cables, an ice brush/scraper and some kind of flashlight in the car.

Where in MN are you moving to? These cars do well in the winter, just watch taking off as the torque will cause easy spinning

From what i was told by a Glass tech is that i caused a distortion in the gasket by flexing the Onstar antenna to try to remove it...letting air get into a small inperfection on the glass. The day it happened we had a sudden temp drop..from like 89 to 31. He said this caused it to blow out...it was from the inside out. I don't have pics but i think my dad does...i'll have him send me them and i'll post them. It was so bizarre i couldn't be mad.

Yeah i'm just west of I35 on hyw 22 (viking blvd). I work at Advance Auto Parts in Elk River, Right off 169. I love it up here. Although people make fun of my accent. Ya'll are just jealous..LOL

Yeah, we all look forward to winter, until the second snowfall. Then it's hell till April.

i'm eager to try these snowmobile thingies everyone talks about. They sound like a blast.

looks really nice.... As to winters, i was up in Sioux Falls and Milbank SD last year and they got like 20 inches fri, sat, sun.. I rode a snow mobile for the 1st time in my life and it's pretty *dang* fun... Also Rode a 4 wheeler with a snow plow attached to the front and helped my GF dad do snow removal through out the Milbank town (small town) . but all of that snow is great if your visiting like i was, but i don't think i would like living up there full time...

i know..but it rained and is just generally crappy. I live on a dirt road so it's not clean anymore.
