Hi All

I installed the angel eyes fog lights a few months back and I have my factory fog light swich not hook up to any thing. My question is can i hook the angel eyes up to the factory switch?

Thanks Keith

Because of the way that they factory wiring is done, I would opt against that idea. It is much safer and easier to install the switch that came with the aftermarket fog lights.

I see no reason why you can't. If the factory foglight circuit is intact, it should be more than adequate to power the halo rings. In fact, it's SAFER than having to run all new wiring again. And electrically speaking, aside from the factory fog lamp relay, it would be the same as running all new wires anyway.

With my angel eye fog lights, I have the factory switch hooked up to the main light and I ran a new power line and switch just for the "halos". This way I can have one or the other running. I even put a red light in the power line for the Halos so I new when the halos were either off or on.

If you have any questions post them up,

Thats what i looking to do. Run a new switch for just the halos and have the lights run to the factory switch... How did you hook the halos up to its own switch?

I'd just run power and ground, through a toggle switch. Make sure there's a fuse, however. You don't want to burn up wiring or bulbs because of a short.

I have used the stock fog switch on my 95, as well as my 02, both with aftermarket fog lights. I'd just use the stock switch, holds up fine even with higher wattage bulbs.

I'm using the stock switch on mine, seems to be holding up well so far and I have mine on 24/7.
