hello there people
its been a while since i posted here i just been a little busy with work n stuff.. so i thought ill do a little update about my bonne

my pioneer deck F700-BT wasnt as good as i expected.. turned out to be a peice of crap and didnt last me few months..

problem happened while driving and it shut off.. i turned the car off back on and then it froze at the bootup screen.. so got rid of it..

now i got a new toy... its the new JVC KW-NT1 head unit along with the KV-CM1 rear view camera running off the Metra GMOS-09 harness and the PAC-Jack steering wheel interface harness

the HU is very nice.. touch screen is amazing.. very fast and very very responsive.. its loaded with CD/DVD player, built in SUPER FAST navi system, built in bluetooth wireless calling... (im amazed with how clear it sounds and how clear people can hear me), front aux and USB input, SD card reader, rear aux and few more
everything works just like factory.. except the CD changer and the Radio info on the HUD.. but onstar, steering wheel controls, chimes all still working like factory

the downside is theres no volume knob... kinda sucks but doesnt bother me much with having the steering wheel controls working...
also doesnt read pictures or videos via SD cards.. dont think ill be using that anyways..
so over all im very very satisfied with my purchase

installing wasnt too bad.. much easier than the pioneer one due to the location of the wiring harness at the back of the deck

installing the rear view camera was a fun challange.. mounting spot was okay.. doubt there was any other better spots for it..

i did the wiring starting from the HU to under the carpet on the passenger side then down the carpet again by the doors all the way to the back seat then to the trunk.. after that i inserted the wire into the black hose that takes the rest of the wires to the trunk unlock hatch which made it impossible to see any wires in the trunk even if you remove the carpet all around.

i had to file down a little edge on top of the third brake light for the wire to pass thru.. and i mounted the camera right under the spoiler and infront of the third brake light

i also changed most of my lighting to LED bulbs.. starting with the turn signals.. they were changed from amber to red LED tower bulbs.. very clear day and night time
i also changed the reverse lights and the license plate lights to super white LEDs.
and last was the interior was also change to super white LED bulbs.. pictures dont show it all but the LEDs all over look very nice and much better in person

wow, really nice looking job! lots of people talk about LED conversions, but are rarely willing to spend the time and money on it. looks very good! did you use some form of direct replacement for the interior bulbs?

i would like to thank V-LEDS for the amazing light bulbs and unbeatable customer service.. i got one light bulb that was deffected i sent them a picture and they sent one out the next day no questions asked

as for the interior bulbs most of them were direct replacement.. they use the 578 fuse looking kinda bulb..
this is exactly what i bought and they look ten times brighter than stock but stupid camera dont show much

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/Dome ... 81172.html

that was for the top front and the back ones.. just straight direct replacement
as for the bottom front ones.. they were different.. but i didnt know.. i bought the 578 for them but i had to laser weld an extra wire on them so i can hold them in.. kinda hard to explain ill take pictures tomorrow.. thank god i had a laser welding machine at my store

The reverse light are a little brighter than stock.. Nothing too crazy..
But it looks awesome once I unlock the car and the reverse light turns on all white.. Looks very luxurious
Huge difference on the interior though

Thanks everyone

got it from hookedontronics.com

close to 7 bills.. well 8 bills for me because they charged me a 20% restocking fee on my old pioneer one
camera was about 150
Metra harness was about 150
so close to 1100 all together not including stupid duties and tax

yeah the price is right.. but those bastards charged me 120 bucks for returning the Pioneer one even though it should be covered by warranty

and i paid 92 for duties for the JVC and 78 for the pioneer one thats on top of shipping

over all it was well worth it.. the HU is really nice.. i wish the lighting was red and not blue though.. but meh.. its just a stupid colour
