No, that's not really what I call my car. Anyway, a lot of these pictures are doubles from what I'd taken before (same location, some of the same angles even) but with a slightly better camera phone and a slightly better day. I'll admit, a lot of these are just to show a bit of the scenery rather than the car. I'll post more at a better location after a thorough cleaning :). Here goes:

I need to re-polish and vacuum the ol girl out, but other than that I think she's still in pretty good shape for being about 70% as old as me! :P

I don't know if its possibly the camera, or the lighting..but your paint appears to be missing a certain depth it should have.

Did you say that you haven't yet polished and waxed it? That could be the reason.

Must say though, that's a hell of a clean car for the age though! I sure wish mine still was that perfect.

What the heck are you talking about John! :bstooges:

that paint is like glass, and for a 93 its remarkable.

It must be my computer. :angry7: For 93 though, compared to the ones around here, that's absolutely showroom. :)

It could be a combination of things. I was using a cell-phone camera (3.2 MP). I've had a couple issues with the paint. I got the car with ~150k miles, but the engine was much newer. So the body has seen some sun. I've polished it a few times but I haven't gotten a chance to yet this summer as we've had some terribly unpredictable weather around here. Either way, there's some dings and a good few scratches, but for it's age I think I'll take the few it has! There are definitely days, though, that I look at it in the sunlight and can see the deep sparkle. I'll try to post some soon after a thorough wash and polish so everybody can see :)

Thanks for the compliments :D

Not by looking at pic number 4 but I do think it was the lighting.

Yeah pic 4 looks pretty bad, particularly my bumper for some reason...

I think for a '93, that car still looks amazing! You can't except a car that old to still have a factory shine unless it was either repainted or kept in a plastic bag/garage for all those years, but yours still looks great!! I wish my '95 Buick still looked that good, but it's rapidly losing shine and clearcoat.

Also, I love that 3rd picture - I've always been a fan of looking from the tops of mountains (don't get much of that being in the foothills of that Apps).
