I was at the junkyard in my area and they had just put out a 97 sse almost identical to mine. I got the leather skin for the drivers seat back (mine has a huge hole) for $5. But the big score is these:


All 4 rims complete with brand new tires for $150, I couldn't pass it up.

Tires don't exactly match 2 have a different style tread than the other 2.

I think I'd like to sell my painted crosslaces soon (they are chipping).

Now you gotta get the chrome lugnut caps (chrome plated plastic, actually). I buy them in bags of like 10 or something from my dealer to replace ones that crack and fall off.

Def gives your car a whole different look... not sure what I like better though.

Why not just get polished lugnut? Expensive kinda yes, but would look much better. And not worrying about them cracking.

Same rims as my EI, very nice! Def. get the chrome caps or chrome lugs, IMHO.

Is your rocker panel falling off?

Looks real good, I'm a strong fan of body-color Aerolytes but they probably wouldn't look right on a 96-99...

I am going to eventually get those lug nut caps, but money is kind of tight at the moment. I don't like how the wheels look good and the lugs suck.

It is all rusted behind the plastic, and some of the clips are missing. That's on my list of things to fix too.

FYI, I found that my local tire shop carried chrome lug nuts for $1 each.
