I think the body work is tasteful.

I've seen the car in person before a few times. He lives about 12 miles away from me. It's borderline ricer, but he DID do a very good job, and not just a ricer hack job. The body filler is all smooth.

I think tasteful is a stretch with the paint job and bumper. That said you have to respect someone attempting body mods like that and actually finishing them to certain degree, its a lot of work. The interior is gawd awful though.

I agree with Haro, smoothing out the body panels was a decent idea, but the rest was bleh. He mentioned in another comment that he wasn't done with the interior yet. But *dang* the inside was ugly.

the idea was there with filling in the body lines, but the interior is god awful.

Can you say "theft deterrent"? I can see smoothing out some of the body stuff. I used to have a 95 Grand Am and I hated those grooves in the trim on that car. The interior....well, looks like Kermit the Frog puked inside. << look, it's even the right color.

He should be commended for all the work he put into it. It must have been a labour of love.

If you are somewhat good at body work, why do that..? A for effort I guess.

at first i thought it looked good....then as time went, i got more and more repulsed by the car. The door panels don't look that good. They had like 1 minute of his friend talking while sitting in the car, but they couldn't add any clips of exhaust sound?

I bet the car became self-aware and couldn't go on with the shame and self-destructed by running itself into a yota. And if it was really doing "a buck 40" my guess is the Bonne wanted to take the driver out as well.
