When Im driving the rpms jumps around a little and if you floor it the engine bogs and the rpms jump up and down more noticeably. I thought it only happened when I floored it, but I took it out for a drive with everything else turned off and the rpms jump even at low speeds with minimal acceleration. It also seems to run rough when its first started. The spark plugs and wires have less than 30,000 on them, and I have a K&N intake which I just installed about 4 months ago so I don't think those could be the cause. I was thinking maybe the MAF needs to be replaced or cleaned? Or I could possibly have a bad wire or plug in there somewhere? The engine throws no codes though, and the oil and coolant looks good, any ideas on the cause?
Hopefully its something easy, I've been staying out of the gas and I miss using my leadfoot Although I'm probably getting some better MPGs

I had similar problem until I took off trottle body and cleaned it and also replaced pcv. And yes it may very well be the ignition module or something simple as bad sparkplug or plug wire.
New spark plugs and wires got her running good! I think I had a bad wire, one boot broke in half with just a little pull. So I ended up ordering a new wire set then decided to throw in new plugs while it was apart. Ended up going with ACDelco Platinum plugs and Bosch wires since they ran out of ACDelco
