Planning on meeting, learning and wrenching (my supercharger coupler). Parts have been ordered and the wife and I are planning to stay at the Econo-Lodge (best rates). I'm pretty handy with tools but I'll leave my share of alcohol to the pros. Paul, I fixed the recline on my seats so I can give a hand on those! Looking forward to it! :)

Rags and 455- nosedrive couplers IIRC.

I'm considering having the LSD done and the Zilla out of the way by the meet, time permitting.

Well, it would be nice to get to ride (or drive) in the legendary Zilla if I'm coming 800+ miles! =P~

Sadly I'm dropping out of this, I haven't put in for a passport, and there's most likely no way I'm going to get one in time.

Obviously one week wasn't enough time for you to get to know Margaret and how much of a PITA she can be when I'm trying to do something like work on her car.

I know what you mean John. Some are just like children and demand your attention.

Attention that is best reserved for man work! :beerchug:

And if there's room for another mod, I've got one that needs to go in.

Well, the bonneville doesn't need anything. But maybe we can install a new radiator or fabricate a throttle plate for my oldsmobile.

Question for Mr Wren............

Would your muffler shop be willing to cut out my cat and replace it with a resonator?

Yes, I know I would lose bottom end torque.

Failing that, can I get a high flow cat there and have it put on? Are they open Saturdays?

His price on cats will be too high. He won't cut a cat in the States, even for a Candadian car. But if you get a cat, he'll give you an install for about 50 bucks I'd guess.

Give Jerry a call at Jerry's Precision Muffler in Corvallis, OR and tell him Bonneville Bill sent you. Discuss it with him. On the flip side, you can cut and replace the cat here, use clamps, and tack weld it with my wire feed. It's a flux core, so I wouldn't do the full weld install with it. The cat should cost you 60 or so delivered to me.

FYI, I'm about ONE DAY away from the Zilla backing into the garage and the teardown beginning. I'd like to get the LSD installed before the meet, but may not make it. I'll have a head start though. I got my compressor and air tools back from VBCSpangler, and Matt, I got the engine hoist back also.
