Platform =/= the rest of the car. Look at the Cruze, Verano and ATS. Same platform, 3 totally different cars.

Cosmetics
And IDK if I would say the Caddy is in the same platform, avail in RWD. I can see how it is, but the RWD really makes is drive dif than the other 2. Even though its the same size.

Whatever you end up with, I hope it works out for ya.

I've never driven an srt lx car but I've driven a couple carvers and magnums and was really put off by the feel of the rear suspension. It had a lateral wallow that felt like leaf springs or flat tires. Other than that and crummy low end model interiors I like them a lot.

No. The CTS is based on the sigma platform.
You're referring to the old Catera that was based off an Opel platform. Holden then used that platform as a basis and modified it for their VZ cars (My GTO and that generation Commodore).

We're splitting hairs here I believe...
Development of the Sigma platform as a genesis for GM's global rear wheel drive platfrom WAS done by Holden due to their experience with similar Opel V based platforms, already. But it, in itself was never USED by Holden for any of their vehicles either domestically (Australia), or for global export. GM simply used their engineering expertise. First implementation/use of the Sigma Platform was the CTS, secondly, the SRX, and then the STS. All Sigma vehicles are/were built at GM's Lansing, Michigan assembly plant.
Again, I know it's splitting hairs...

Ok that makes sense.
I vote for the 300, I love them when I see em around. The G8 looks like an American BMW.
Plus I'm a bit biased towards Dodge. My dad was a dodge/Plymouth guy.
