Yea we sure do! Just met him a year ago too! My other brother also looks just like both of us as well, kinda crazy too since my dad and I both are very mechanically inclined and like cars and stuff
More work to come tomorrow!

What brand compounds are you using for this? I have a couple of scratches on my car that need a little touching up and buffing out, as well as polishing on the whole car.
All wetsanding on the paint was done with 2000 grit 3M wet or dry sand paper wrapped around a foam sanding block, and water with Meguiar's Gold Class car shampoo.
Compounding was done using a Porter Cable 7424XP orbital polisher, Lake Country CCS 5.5" orange pad and Menzerna PowerGloss compound.
Medium cut is PC 7424XP , LC CCS 5.5" orange pad and Menzerna Super Intensive Polish
Fine cut is PC 7424XP, LC CCS 5.5" white pad and Menzerna Micro Polish.

Sounds good, all I'd need to get would be the Power Gloss compound, and the paper. Car looks fantastic.

Love the updates.
Those corner markers are now the standard IMO. Maybe put some LED bulbs behind them. But I am a sucker for Smoked corners (peers at sig).

Maybe get some Silverstar turn signal/marker bulbs in there, they should be a bit brighter. I haven't installed my set I bought in MI back in June

Update #4
More wet sanding taking place now, going over the entire car here. My goal is to eliminate about 80% of the orange peel from the factory, basically making this paint look better then the day it rolled out of the paint booth, except of course the blemishes that come from a car with 220,000 miles on it
Paint condition on the rear passenger side quarter panel, remember that nice nasty scratch...

Wet sanded the entire quarter and the bottom of the back door.

Some reflection shots after wet sanding, compounding, and medium cut polish.

These next pics have already tricked a few people... notice the text

Now on to the drivers side, this is the condition of the paint before any work was done.

Drivers side fender, and both doors all wet sanded. Notice that there is still some shiny spots that were not sanded, that is because you want to stay away from sharp corners and edges (or be EXTREMELY careful with them) as it is very easy to sand the clear and paint right off. I chose to just get close to them and not actually do any sanding in those areas.

Reflection after wet sanded, compounded, and medium cut polish.

Now remember that I still have a finishing polish to do yet as well as wax, those will both wait for the entire car to be done first though. I have come up with a new name for this car, and I think it fits... the Black Mirror
Just that work alone took me eight hours to do. All said and done, I imagine that by the time I am completely done with this car I will probably have 25 - 30 hours into the paint alone, not to mention probably another 20 into the interior and under hood detail which I haven't even started yet

An absolutely incredible transformation already! How much sandpaper have you gone thru already?
Also, where do you buy the polishing supplies? Can I use my pneumatic D/A sander with those pads, or do I have to use the orbital polisher?
Once I dust my SSEi off I'll be trying this out... it needs it bad.
